Three Worlds
"Three Worlds" is a romantic fantasy adventure series set in the present on an Earth that is home to mighty paraheroes and within a galaxy that houses vast star empires and republics. Though the entire thing will run twelve volumes, the series has stand-alone story arcs within it. Vols 1-4 make up one. Vol. 5 is a stand-alone. Vols 6-8 are an arc. Vols 9 on: I'm not sure how they overlap, but it could very well be a 9-11 arc in which we explore three new worlds (one of which is Earth). The last volume, number 12, is a stand-alone that I hope will have everyone's hair standing on end while they're reaching for their Kleenexes!
The premise:
Carolina (Lina) O’Kelly Starhart is just an introverted, self-doubting, average... Well, she can talk to worlds and teleport across lightyears and might just wind up changing the course of the entire galaxy and everyone in it. But she couldn’t begin to do any of that if it weren’t for the two very special -- and SEXY -- men in her life!Check out first chapters in the series:
Touch of Danger (vol. 1)
Vacationing Lina O’Kelly may be an inventive psychic and telepath, but she has zero self-esteem and a paralyzing phobia to touch. Though she conscientiously uses self-help goal techniques to try to change her life, she considers her phobia a lost cause. She is also sworn to help anyone who requests aid—even if it’s the world’s greatest superhero who asks for what she’s unable to give.
Commanding and supremely confident, Londo Rand is known to the galactic sector as Valiant, a legend in heroic power. For 29 years he’s been too strong to touch another human unless he maintains absolute control. Now a new weapon has sapped his powers for a day, perhaps two. He has only that much time to experience life as a normal man.
The two find themselves on the run from an army of mercenary killers across a deserted South Pacific island. Not only must they seek safety, but Londo is driven to break through Lina’s phobia in the short time he has so they can rid themselves of their virginity. Will they discover that what they’ve both longed for was not a touch of skin, but that of two hearts meeting? If they should fall deeply in love, how will they cope when Londo’s powers come back and he’s too strong to hold Lina in his arms?

This is Lina. Oh, make her ahem, auburn hair a lot curlier (and frizzy on occasion) and give her bright green eyes. Maybe push her nose in a bit, too. But that's her.
So this must be Londo. I was standing in line at the grocery store and was struck speechless by the Cosmo cover. "Lon!" I silently shrieked. You can find just this pose in Touch of Danger when he wakes up beside the pool. Oh, he's got skin that's just a bit darker than this (and it suddenly gets a few shades darker in, ah, vol. 6), and he might have just a few more muscles than this. Oh heck, he's got muscles on top of muscles, woof. But he's not as muscle-bound as his father, Maximus.
And you can't be the THREE worlds without a third. Here's Jae Rallene. I don't know if you'll recognize this fellow. I'd certainly no idea of who Brad Pitt was until I was at the movies and saw a promo for "The Devil's Own." "JAE!" I again silently shrieked. (I didn't realize I did quite so much of that.) But there he was, complete with Irish accent. This is his cleaned-up look, which he doesn't get until the series is really rolling. Until then I see him with hair akin to what David Bowie had in "The Labyrinth." Jae doesn't show up in the first volume of the series, but I did manage to sneak in a few mentions of his name.
